During holiday passed by an AD that actually had a brandnew Titanium Seawolf with the iconic yellow dial and older type bracelet in the window!!
They are wanting 3100 EUR for it but they must have been having it in the window for many many years so if I'm buying it there should be lots of room for negotiation..... Always have loved this watch, much more then the newer steel versions. Owned one in the past and sold it, regretted and this would be a pretty unique opportunity for getting a new one.
What would be considered a good price for such a rarity?

I think the more important question is, what are they asking?

I picked up one of the last few when they were just still in the current range for 1250 GBP in a sale. That was on a ProII bracelet. I believe that was half price back then. There is ~50% margin for UK dealers so that would have been about their buy in price.
With that in mind, maybe you can make them a sensible offer. 3100 EUR is too much IMO, but equally nice ones are rare now so depends how much you want it.

One of the few watches I regret parting with.

they were unwilling to negotiate, maybe 100 EUR discount, but that was it. They said to be fully confident selling it one day for it's old listprice.
It even had the PRO 1 bracelet !!

I've just bought a 2007 model, the E17370, titanium body and bracelet, yellow face, box and papers, on Ebay and am really pleased with it. I paid £1600. It was last serviced in 2011, but is very healthy, gaining just under 2 seconds a day consistently. It's in a perfect unscratched condition, even the clasp has only minor swirls. I'm really pleased with it, the steel one is so heavy, the Ti one has a perfect weight and balance.

Getting a new one for £1250 was a real bargain MartC!

Regards, Martin F
