Hi All,
I would like to thank all the contributors on this site that helped me do my research and gave me confidence to buy my first ever luxury watch from all the way in New York (I am based in the UK).

I got a really good deal and very proud owner of a Breitling Chronomat 41.

I have had the watch looked at by an AD and the dealer believes it has been reconditioned to new i.e. been polished.
I was expecting this based on the price that I paid. Plus it didn't come with any paperwork though, not sure, how much of an issue that might be.

Would be happy to hear your opinion guys. Got this for £3500 (inc. custom & tax)

Thanks

Good price for where you are. Congrats.

Having no paperwork is not an issue, unless it bothers you. Yes, it might decrease a little value if you try and sell it, but I would not worry about that. It really is not a big deal.

Make sure you show pics once you get the watch.

Congrats! My opinion is not to bother about whether you have gotten a good deal because you have already bought the watch so just enjoy it.

Thanks for the comments on the paperwork. I intend to keep it so not to fussed about the resale value.
