Hi
I'm planning to purchase the cockpit b50 night mission
I like the black finish but I do worry about scratching it
Browsed throug some posts about having probmlems with earlier models
I would appreciate any feedback on the watch pros and cons
Also on the finish black or titanium
Thanks in advance

The coating is very hard but not totally scratch proof and not as refinishable as the uncoated titanium which is also quite prone to showing marks. At the end of the day it's down to personal preference. It's a great watch with great wrist presence but very light and easy to wear. I'd buy one if I didn't have two ana-digital watches.

I have the B50 night mission (frecce tricolori L.E.) that I wear with love every day. What I can say is that the case is very resistant, while it is not too difficult to scratch the outer part of the bezel. But the dark finish is absolutely beautiful! I would buy it again!

I second these thoughts. I have the B50 boutique edition in yellow. The coating is very decent but, as a personal choice, not an everyday watch.

If you have an OCD for the watch finish & can't stand accidental scratches on the black bezel, then think otherwise.

Else, go for it...

I have the B50 titanium on rubber strap with deployant. Love the watch, I could not do the dark finish because I cannot handle scratches. You cannot easily fix the coating. Otherwise it has been a great watch. Wear mine everyday and get about 40 days out of a charge using the backlight quite a bit.

Just came back from Europe and my B50 Cockpit Night Mission was a fantastic travel watch. Zero issues with the highly resistant DLC coating.

Worn everyday. Dress up or down no problem. Don't understand the comment about it not being an everyday watch. It is the perfect everyday go anywhere watch!

This is a watch built to be worn and enjoyed. If you are concerned about scratches, buy a Casio.

It seems the case is very resistant, but the outer ribs of the bezel are quite easily scratchable
