Hi I'm new to the forum so Hi to everyone. Just purchased my first Breitling a couple of days ago which arrived today. I took a days holiday to receive it as I'm a watch nut, TAGs mainly. I like to buy something needing a bit of TLC and spending a few days bringing it back to life. I cashed In my TAG Microtimer to fund this one. I maybe asking a silly question as to whether its rare as all Breitlings are rare. Actually I think its the first Antares I've seen in the flesh. I quickly did my research and didn't find too many for sale but I think I got a bargain. All the paperwork and service receipts checked out and boxes etc seemed to match. Qualitywise it blows my TAGs out the water the details are amazing. I especially like the gold bezel screws. The watch dates from 1991 so is 26 years old but could pass for brand new if you changed the strap.. Downsides maybe its a little smaller than modern day watches, i'm used to wearing my bigger Aquaracer. Its a dress watch and I never go out so chances of wearing it are low. but other than that I Love it. :lingsrock:

Welcome on BS ! Considered as a " modern" Breitling here as it is from the Breitling SA era , it is typical from their 90's style - Chronomat for chronographs, Antares - Sirius - Wings for 3 hands . Not many for sale nowadays as it has never been a bestseller .
This one looks sound and getting a documented and full set sample is appreciable. Congrats.
