as others have said, the whole comparison seems pointless... a watch is a personal and subjective choice for those lucky enough to have the means to own it.

i just cringe when i see diamond encrusted Blings, and i'm sure the guy who is wearing that would yawn at my navi or chronomat. with all the money in the world i prob would never buy a lambo in neon green. give me a silver 911 turbo any day of the week and i will drive it like i stole it. if someone gave me a Patek or a gold submariner, i would never wear it... but happily accept it and sell it! but if anyone likes any of the things i abhor, power to you. it's your money... spend it as you see fit.

a luxury watch to me is simply an accessory, something to be enjoyed and appreciated by the wearer. i could careless if the guy next to me liked it or hated it.
