I've had my Airborne 41 for 2 weeks (I've had many Breitling over the years), but recent years I've been going more Rolex. Now I have the black dialled Ceramic Daytona I am content with my Rolex.

I am that impressed with the Airborne 41 in Silver, I have ordered the Airborne 44 in black.

Should be ready for me next week.

Congrats. Both companies do the chronograph in very special ways. Best in the industry for my money. I had a Daytona years ago but was a bit too small on my wrist and I needed a date feature so I traded it back in for a TT Bluesy. My Blackbird Limited Edition has been on my wrist most of the time these days. Its a accuracy super star and is out performing my quartz watches.

That ceramic Daytona is a tough find! How/where did you score it?

I rang goldsmiths Middlesbrough the day they were announced at Basel and was 2nd on their list.

I got the call in October and bought before the price hike so paid £8250.

With WR300m and a date function, either Breitling could be used for anything, including diving. Great chronograph collection.

Very, very nice.

Btw it's funny how 41 and 44 look so similar in size, I had tough time recognising which is which.

Maybe light dial makes the 41 look bigger.

Are you basing that on the OP's pictures, or observation of the watches in person? In the steel, I find the 41 to look noticeably smaller than the 44. OP's pics are very tightly framed. The zoom is actually closer on the 41, giving it the illusion of being the same size as or larger than the 44.

My comment was regarding the OP pics. I still hadn't got a chance to see Airborne 41 vs 44 in person.
