Over the weekend I tried to buy a vintage Breitling Premier chronograph from an auction, but the fates were against me, and I had to pass.

Today, instead, I bought this pretty nice A17040 Superoecan:

It will require a bezel spring, and a couple of links; I just got it so the time-keeping is under observation right now . . .

I think it has a lot of potential.
