Fellas, been lurking on the forum for a little while; finally wanted to contribute and ask your opinions on a couple things.

Fell in love with the Avenger Bandit first time I saw it online. I had never owned a nice timepiece, and I was considering Tag and Breitling. I like the more sporty look in a watch that isn't too blingy but also has some muscle to it too. I wear a suit almost every day, but was looking for an every day carry that would work with a t-shirt but also for business. After browsing my local ADs, I had to get a Breitling and it had to be the Bandit. Never have been a "watch guy", but I think that is changing....

I went with the military strap that has leather backing and tang buckle since it looked like it would fit better under French cuff dress shirts (which it kinda does, but not all the way). With the leather backing, it isn't the most water resistant strap, so I am looking to add a couple straps to compliment.

I live in the Atlanta, GA area, so as we get into summer/swimming/sweating season, which rubber strap would be a good fit for the bandit? I like the basic look of the diver pro II as well as the military rubber strap that has that the canvas that I like on the outside, but rubber backing. Also, I have fairly small wrists that will expand and contract a decent amount through the the day; any thoughts on which buckle or clasp might be good as well.

Given the grey/blue dial and titanium case, are there any leather straps that could give a dressier look? I'm not a big bracelet guy, but would any bracelets compliment the look of the bandit?

Also, there is a video on YouTube (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3G6sPuoUlpM) where the owner of a bandit applies a Zagg invisible shield to the crystal to protect it from scuffs and scratches. Would you guys think that is a good investment or just a waste?

Thanks in advance and look forward to the conversation.

Interesting idea... looks like the same thing you put on your cellphone.
My daily wear is an M1, Ti, on Ti pro I bracelet. Very comfortable, without the bling. I think the pro I is more comfortable that the
pro II. Also have a Superocean II Chrono. Took off that bracelet (too much bling) I have it on a rubber Ocean Racer Deployant.
You'll love the deployant, it has micro adjustments that are a snap, as your wrist swells & shrinks.
Love the look of titanium. I think people stare trying to figure out what it is, metal or Mattel game plastic ! :?

The new rubber strap with canvas that is pictured with the Bandit on Breitling's website has always looked like a good fit to me.

That being said, I do want to point out that the backing on the OEM military strap (which, I assume, is the one you currently own) is not leather -- it's synthetic. So, your current strap actually is quite water resistant. I have these straps on two of my B's, and love 'em.

Welcome to the forum. You jumped into the Breitling game with both feet. I have been thinking a Bandit is going to have to be in my future. I am curious how comfortable the military strap is? I am guessing it came on a tang buckle? I bought a Seawolf on the bracelet and am thinking I need to summerize it before our warmer weather really picks up and I am not convinced that I will like the rubber options.

Thank you guys for the comments.

Jim, didn't realize the military strap back was synthetic, so I feel better about getting it wet. Still might look a rubber strap to mix it up. Thanks for the heads up!

Kevin, the military strap is comfortable; the (synthetic) leather backing makes it, so the canvas isn't touching your skin. No issues with it.

Great watch, congratulations. I mean to get the 'military-type' strap for my Seawolf, but I'm imagining it would hold water after being immersed? Not that it would be a problem, but perhaps not as practical as a rubber?

I tried a standard military strap on my Seawolf, but found that it didn't balance well with the large case. The new rubber/canvas strap that Breitling introduced with the Bandit seems like an ideal choice for the Seawolf, as it appears to be a bit more robust and would better match the case size.

As for the canvas getting wet -- my own experience with my military straps is that it dries out fairly quickly.
