I've recently started a "show your breitlings" thread on another superb forum, and one of the lads posted up this old ad Pic.

Does anyone here remember the submariner style Superocean Quartz shown here? They seem to be super rare! At least I can't find one anywhere.

It's an 80210 according to the picture.

Happy new year all.

83110 has DOXA bezel..

AFAK, Breitling never used "pillow" shape case, hour/minute/second hands and bracelets are so "unBreitling" that I have to say this is poor photoshop hackjob, which doesn't surprise me after surfing around other forums and seeing the hate towards B.

incorrect , and I really wished people would do a little investigation before saying silly things like 'its a photoshop hackjob'
its perfectly genuine
from the period when E Schneider bought the Breitling name and started to produce the first watches under the Breitling name
early 1980ies

but they're hard to find, I've only ever seen less than a handful for sale

page 7 from the 1980 catalog

Great to see the "Doxaling" again! I'd actually forgotten all about that one, because as Dracha says they pretty much never come up for sale. I happen to think they're pretty cool....., but then I like Doxas as well.
