Quick dumb question...

I have a Galactic 41 and challenged the stated 42 HR Power Reserve. I wound the watch 50+ times from stopped (full crown rotations) and left the watch dial up in a stationary watch box to see when the watch would stop. To my surprise it stopped right on the 49th hour keeping within the COSC spec at +4 seconds per 24 hour period except the last few hours where it slowed a little.

Is it usual to get more Power Reserve than the stated 42 hours?

Thanks guys!

Power reserve is stated as at least 42 hours - not at all surprising for it to be longer when new / relatively recently serviced, reserve will drop over time as the mainspring ages.

Thank you for the response. Yes, I did read the specs properly now and it did indeed read "MINIMUM 42 HR". I did preface my post with "It's a dumb question"

Thanks again
