I am thinking about my next purchase....With that being said I have decided on a Navi World with White Dial. A little smaller than I usually wear but a classic timeless piece. I know the Navi bracelet is quite expensive (and more cost effective to purchase first rather than later) but I am not sure if I look the look of it when compared to a croc strap. With that being said any owners of the Navi World with White Dial would you be so kind in posting a few pics of it on a strap and the bracelet? So I could get an idea of the look of it in real life. Also looking to see the size of it as well. I know it is a 46mm but am hoping with the White Dial it will wear a bit larger and not look to small. I don't have huge wrists but at 7.5 inches I can carry a larger watch. At least I think I can. :D

Navi World doesn't come with the Pilot bracelet, it comes with the Navitimer bracelet.

Corrected thanks. Not to sure why I wrote Pilot. Need another cup of coffee apparently.

After pondering further I decided I am going to wait for the Navi GMT. The larger size, in house movement, display caseback, applied logo at 12 rather than the painted on one at 3 on the World, as well as the subdial layout on the GMT. Makes the GMT in my mind the better option for me for sure. So everyone can disregard this. Thanks.

Hi there,

I hope these might help, a variety for you to look at.

NOTE when you buy the World, you will probably notice a slight popping noise if you tap the crystal, sounding like it's about to fall out.

Don't panic! Many, including mine, sound the same……odd but true.]

I really appreciate the response as well as the pictures. Those are absolutely fantastic. The Camel Croc was the strap I was contemplating so that was a very good picture to see. However I decided after some more thought that I am going to hold off for the Navi GMT. The reasons listed earlier in the thread. But thank you very much for the photos. You really have a great piece there.

Ha. His strap was the first one I saw as well. And I have wanted one ever since. I am sure it looks killer on your TOC as well!

Hmm. Being another guy thinking about getting the Navi World, this thread has given me good inputs. The deal breaker with Navi GMT for me was the date position. I didn't think about the applied logo earlier but you brought up a good point. If I am not wrong, I think that is solid gold on the GMT.

Also I am just not ready yet to trust inhouse movements. Maybe I am not the type to embrace change!

All applied logos are 18k gold.

The date position doesn't really bother me. I don't think the date was an "afterthought" but on a pretty busy dial already they had to put it somewhere. The contrast of the subdials, the red chrono hand and the red tip on the GMT allow the dial to just have enough "pizzazz." I absolutely love that the wings are at 12 O' Clock. I am not a yellow gold guy by any means and wish it would come in white gold, but I think the white gold would get lost on the dial, so I can deal with that little bit of yellow gold. The GMT will add a completely different and IMHO a more refined look to my collection. The Navi was THE watch that caught my eye a few years ago with Breitling. That classic timeless look, there is just something so satisfying about the look of it. Maybe because you can wear it with a suit but it looks just as good with a polo and jeans. The 43mmm 01 was just to small for my liking as I like a larger watch. The GMT is THE watch I have been waiting for. That timeless and classic look in a larger case. Then add a true inhouse and a display caseback. Sign me up! The only decision I have to make now is Black Dial or Silver Dial.

Well, Navi World is 46mm, cal 24 movement, painted logo and solid case back.
Navi GMT is 48mm, in house 04 movement, applied logo AND display back.
There is of course the Navi 01 46 mm, in house movement, applied logo and also display back.
Given the three alternatives above, I'd be going for the Navi GMT or the Navi 01 46mm.
In house movement trust? Well, I have three of them and have not had any problems with them so far (touch wood). On the other hand you get 5 year warranty which can help the trust bit a bit ;-)

I am really happy to hear, day by day, stories of buyers happy with the new in-house movements. Being the maker of the most stylish watches in the industry (strictly my opinion) it is only a matter of time before Breitling moves on par with the "other" brand in the industry who only make refinements to their age old line.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread, OP. Keep us updated on your purchase, good luck and health!

I think it's close to 10,000 USD.
