Post subject:  Are they actually manufacturing my watch ?

Hi Guys. I am new to this forum. I ordered a Chronospace Automatic with Mesh bracelet (I love this watch) from my AD. I'm in South Africa and so far it's taken 6 weeks. My AD told me my watch is being shipped from Breitling yesterday and will arrive in SA this week. I can't wait. I asked my AD why it's taken so long. They explained Breitling has no stock and had to especially make this watch for me. I must admit. This makes me feel rather special. I am guessing this watch is not that popular or being discontinued. I don't mind that but I just wonder why it takes Breitling 6 weeks to make a watch. Surely they take a movement from stock. Place it inside the case, test and supply. Can someone shed some light on this ?Image

Chronospace auto is being discontinued.

Busa has limited dials in stock, some were totally gone.
My guess us they had to pull stock from Europe and then send to you.

Enjoy it when you get it.

It takes a heck of a lot longer than 6 weeks to go through the production process - certification alone takes around 3 weeks.

As noted, the Chronospace auto is discontinued so the watch exists and is being shipped.

I'll also move this out of the ladies section as it is just about the most 'unladylike' Breitling :-)

I know my AD has the black dial, silver with black subs, and black eye blue dial of this model available.

Thanks Roffensian. Sorry about the Ladies section. Not 100% with how to post yet. Very happy to hear this is the least lady like watch. I agree with you. That's part of the appeal for me. I like the 24mm bracelet. The heavy teeth on the Bezel and I order a Black dial with black sub-dials. As Hard-Core as its goes.

Image. Currently wearing this one. It's like a child at the moment. I am sure I'm going to love the new Chronospace but I am a little sad too. I am sad that I will loose the love for my Crosswind. It wears super comfortably and looks awesome. It's slightly understated whereas the Chronospace is more load !! Mixed emotions !

Thanks Ken. I'm soooo happy with it. I felt the Crosswind was a bit small for me. Mostly my eyesight. I can't always put my glasses on to see the time. The Chronospace dial is bigger and I can see the time and date without my glasses. Really love this watch.

Breitling for me, all the way.
