Hi Guys,
I've got my 'Breitling World' back from service a few months ago and just noticed the 'tic-tac' sound is awkward. Its too deep and too loud (let's say compare to Montbrillant Datora which is much more quiet and also compare to my other watches with 7750 movement).

I'm not talking about the 'rotor plate' movement when you turn your wrist. I'm simply referring to the 'tic-tac' sound without turning your wrist.

Could you please let me know if you are experiencing the same thing? - Thanks.

If the escapement is louder than 'normal' it may be overbanking - the balance is rotating too far (amplitude too high) and hitting the back of the pivot. There are a number of things that could cause that, but generally the watch would also run fast. Not many other things that would make it loud, especially not without affecting the rate.

Thanks Roff. What you described does make sense. The sound is definitely loud and has an 'echo' to it.
Shipped the watch to Breitling USA in CT today.
