Did anyone attempted to remove a B1/B2 bezel? How about the service access point on the case? I would like to clean/lubricate the mechanism since it is hard to turn.

Any hints?

Thanks.

Update: Took the bezel off. Straight forward, just remove the 4 screws. Cleaned-up the area under the bezel but still it turns hard. Must be the mechanism itself. I have the access where the gear comes out to lubrificate. What lub should I use for this? Any ideas?

It's a service job, not an owner job. It's just not worth the risk of Breitling refusing to service the watch if they identify that unapproved work has been done on it.

Problem is the only issue is the bezel. Only way to get it done is to send it for complete service.

No the problem is the gearing for the outer chapeter of the slide rule.

It's gone dry and is a sure sign that the watch is WAY over its sevice period.

Trust to Roff's advice. It's a service job because you'll need to strip the movement out to get to the gear or have the tooling to remove the gear end cap (#5 in the picture) in the case at the 10 o'clock.

Do not attempt this as, as Roff states Breitling will either not touch the watch or charge you for repairing the damage you may cause attempting it yourself.
