Man I like my rider tabs! Yesterday at work, I managed to bang my Crosswind Special against the wall in my office and thought "oh crap"! Looked at my watch and 2 rider tabs (the 30 and 45 marker tabs) were all scratched up on the polished part near the crystal. Wish I took a pic of it prior to polishing it all out when I got home, but was too anxious to get the scratches out. A few minutes with the cape cod cloth on the rider tabs and watch looks like new again!

Can't help but thinking if those tabs weren't there, it would be the crystal that would have taken the hit against the wall. Good job rider tabs. Lol.

All shiny again...

Perhaps getting rid of the rider tabs is a cunning plan by Breitling to raise some income from all the scratched crystals they'll have to be replacing in future!

Your CWS looks great!

As much as, thanks to Don, I love my Chronomat 01 LE and as much as it has been discussed here on many occasions, I still don't understand why Breitling changed the tabs on the new generation.
After all it was the rider tabs and the slider rule bezel On the Navis that made Breitling a Breitling.

You're giving Breitling way too much credit.

Thanks guys! You know you're a certified watchnut when you come home after a long day at work and instead of eating dinner, you sit there trying to polish out scratches on your watch. Lol. My wife was like, what are you doing?! Umm...well, there's scratches on my rider tabs! :D
