Have yall seen this? (From Breitling's Facebook Page) I think it looks awesome, thoughts? I like the new placement of the logo, looks less cluttered.

Also what I'm wearing...(had to...)

Not seen it before - thanks for posting.

New hands and layout give it a better look imho.

I'm not sure that the extra numbers in the sub-dials were necessary but overall, I like it - and I've not said that about many new designs in the last couple of years!

so after several conflicting reports whether the Datora was EOL or not,
it seems like a relaunch with quite minimal dial design adaptation, finally ?
well done, Breitling, no relevant innovation (adapting the B01 would probably
have been prohibitively expensive), but at least no design disaster.

Shame they couldn't have dropped a B01 variant inside, but that aside I think it's a really nice update they've made there. I won't buy one myself, but it does look really good IMO.

I do like the dial, but in my opinion, it looks far too much like every other Navi. The reason I went for my Datora was the unique look it has with the red highlight in the centre. I think it really differs it from other Navi style dials.....

:yeahthat

But has to have been one of hte quietest launches / relaunches in history. I guess that we were not supposed to have known that it was ever cancelled.

The new face has been on the Breitling website for months. I bought my Montbrillant Datora in February 2012 and basically had the choice between the new and the old face. I chose the old face because imo it looks far better.

Why take away the red 100/m ring? Now it looks dull and without colour.
Why take away the alpha style hands? I like the classic look.
Why put a big fat golden B on it? Perfectly fine for some models, but not this one.
Why change the date to white on black?

Sorry, but no improvement.

I agree totally. They messed that one up.

I like it, and it's different enough from my Navi for me to want one... We'll see.

I like it somewhat. I had the white dial Datora and the dial bugged me because it was so cluttered it was hard to read. I finally took it back/traded it in. The new version is a bit cleaner and, it seems, more functional, as in - just what time is it anyway? Another sticking point for me was the day and month windows in the minutes subdial, which for me rendered the chrono largely useless. I'd rather they drop the hour sub dial, put the minutes subdial at 3:00, put the day/month at 6, and slap the logo and other writing at 12. But that would really P.O. a bunch of folks and we would be seeing :guns: :guns: on this thread.

I think it looks pretty good but I don't like that they took the lume away.

I agree - it looks like a Navitimer, I always liked the Datora, but I think it looks better with the red center.

That, sir, is a fine looking watch. Hello from it's twin brother:

And I agree with your comments - the unique look is what drew me to this watch (my first Breitling, by the way).

That said, I do like the look of the new one. I just prefer the old.
