I have been given a late 80's New Pluton 3100 from the Navitimer series from a friend for free because he knows I love watches and he doesn't wear them any longer. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. The watch does need some work.

Two of the pushers are missing. It looks like if I had two replacements they would compression-fit on the bushings. The problem is, where can I find them. I've been searching the new and can't seem to find them. I'm also going to need a new strap. He replaced the original strap and the one that's on there needs replaced now too. I want to find a nice brown one, but I just looked at original Breitling replacements, and they were like $500 so I'll be taking suggestions on what to use as a replacement if you would like.

Oh, and this is my first post, and my first Breitling . . . so, Hello, and thanks in advance for any help you might offer.

I had my watchmaker replace some pushers on one of my Plutons and it wasn't a problem for him to do. They can use a generic pusher that fits and trim the internal push rod to the correct length to activate the mechanism inside. The quartz movement isn't as critical to pusher rod length as a mechanical watch. There are good quality Bob straps that are relatively cheap on ebay. I've bought a couple and have been happy with them but any 20mm strap should work fine.

If it's the one with the black face, I'd love to buy it off you. Let me know.
