I have to say i tried the super avenger on the other day and it was an awesome feel, but i love the stick marks face that there advertising, which seems to be coming out this coming summer, but then again i originally was eyes set on the Monti Legend (chocolate/bronze). Basically i guess what im asking is for some other opinions on which would be the smarter pick for a watch that any person would feel comfortable to wear at all occasions such as work(suit), going out to the clubs everyday maybe... i love them both but i must decide on one and am afraid to say that something is telling me that super avenger might be to much, but thats might be just me.... Sooo yeah from an outside point-a-view what would majority vote be just curious... What can i say it going to be my first real deal expensive watch... Anyone wanna take a stab or maybe there is something i might wanna checkout before i settle on either of the two , but its obvious that im leaning on a big watch just afraid super avenger might be to much for corporate world maybe i don't know... What can i say i caught the bug for watches because i can see myself owning a few lol.... Any suggestions?

Correct, You'll end up with the addiction!

the legende is a superb watch, somewhat more dressier than the SA.
You clearly prefer the stick markers on the SA...my advice would be that for your first one, I 'd assume its a 24/7 wearer so go for the waterproof one...SA all the way! then once you have the breitling bug good and proper, a dressier watch may be on the cards...here is where the legende really shines...esp with the chocolate dial...its fantastic and I'd go for it if I didn't have 3 dark dial watches already...hence my looking at the silver dial monty

whatever you go for, be sure to get down to the AD, ask for a coffee and spend some time wearing the watches....one will call your name :)

don't think that buying the biggest one precludes others......I'm wearing my teeny weeny superocean (compared to my SA) today and its just fine, lighter but fine.

dare I also suggest you have a look at the brighter dial watches...yellow/CORAL etc ...but then I'm biased

Buy the one that speaks to you. Dont "settle" because you feel like you have to compromise. Go with the one you really want.

BTW, SA is waay better for the clubs imo.. Its also superb at the day to day.. Im assuming you are somewhat younger like myself (25)...so just my opinion. Its not really corporate friendly in the traditional sense, but who gives a sh*t?

Def go with the one you first like. Then again I thought would end up going with my first choice but ended up going with something else....

Bigger is better though IMO :)

Just compare the quality of the bracelet on the Super Avenger and on the Montbrillant Legende. I would go for the Legende, if I can afford it.

Both are great watches. I feel the SA might be a more 24/7 watch than the Legende, which is a bit dressier, but I don't have a problem going to clubs wearing my Legende instead of the SA. The SA is waterproof which might be good for every day use, but it might also be too thick to wear with the suit - depending on how tight your shirt sleeves are.

The best thing you can do is as already stated - get the one you like most! You can always adapt the occasion to the watch you're wearing (ie take it off when going into the water or take it off while wearing a suit).

.....as alrady mentioned, the SA is more of an 'everyday' watch, that's what I would go for

Get the SA,it is a better everyday watch. You can always get a Monty at a later date but the SA is better suited for everyday use. Good luck.

I have been debating myself getting either an SA or a 6.75. I ended up choosing the 6.75 because I already have an everyday watch (a 10 year old Omega Seamaster which pops gave me). If I did not already have an everyday watch, I would definately go with the SA as I mainly wear jeans and a polo type shirt for work so the hugeness of the SA would not be a problem for me (since I don't usually wear lon sleeves).

Although I can see myself wearing the 6.75 everyday as well hehehe.

Side by side I prefer the Montbrillant. However, if you are looking for the 24/7 watch the Super Avenger better fits the bill.
