Paying US$350 for a rubber strap is positively insane...but so completely worth it! I cannot express how much my black dial Skyland came to life when I put the Ocean Racer on. It definitely makes the watch very casual, but I love it. In the summer I basically wear khaki pants/shorts and a golf shirt, and this combo just goes perfectly. It's also incredibly comfortable to wear. I was little concerned it might feel top-heavy, but it does not at all. I cannot recommend this strap enough. It is a completely different animal in comparison to the rubber dive strap. This is much more like a rubber bracelet. I love it!

I know this thread is worthless without pics, so I put some in the Gallery section, my "monkey arm" and all.

You have to split the price. The bracelet alone costs 50 Euros in Austria, the foldingclasp 240 Euros

...couldn't agree more MoreCowbell I just adore the Ocean Racer strap on my SOH46, I'm seriously considering one for my SA. My only gripe is that it has scratched quite a bit on the clasp. I've tried to polish them out with no avail  Wouldn't stop my getting another as it looks awesome!

Strange.. My AD charged me 350 for the buckle and 75 for the strap. She gave me a lead time of 4-6 weeks... maybe I can find it cheaper.

I believe the retail price listed in the catalog is $350. Mine was marked $275 on the clasp and $75 on the rubber. My local Macy's was out when I bought mine around 2 months ago, but they would have sold one to me at retail. Maybe you should check Macy's if you have one nearby.

Glad to hear the good comments about the Ocean Racer! Especially as I have ordered one for my Steelfish, which I think will look great.
For the first time, when I do get the Strap on my Steelfish, Iwill try to post a pic or two. I've got only a small camera, but hopefully it will do the trick. Does not seem to be a single photo anywhere with Steelfish/Ocean Racer combo. I totally agree that it is amazing with the Skyland. That has to be one of the best combos in the entire Breitling men's line.
Cheers,
Carl

Is the folding clasp different than the regular deployant? That seems really high. Here in Canada deployant lists at $200 and I just paid $550 taxes in for a croc on deployant.

I haven't seen the regular deployant, but the one on the Ocean Racer has tool-free micro adjustment built in. There is a toothed sliding portion inside the deployant that allows small adjustments without using a pin tool. It's hard to explain, but I posted pics earlier and there is discussion about it on the web. I use the adjuster regularly, to the point where I am annoyed that I can't do the same with my bracelets. Well worth the money, IMHO.

Thanks. Says 20/24mm in the Chronolog - I guess I tread it wrong!

Can anyone confirm the UK price for these? They're listed as £205 - is that correct?

:)
