VERY NICE. I prefer the stick markets over numbers myself on watches. Nice to see that they finally came out with the markers.

Yes, I like the new SA a lot better. Kind of borrowed the markers at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock from the Steelfish. Don't know about those 2, they kind of look lost and like they don't belong. Should probably have been square.
I like the new SuperOcean. Has a bit chunkier look, I think. Especially the one with the yellow dial, the numerals look great on it!
Cheers,
Carl

To me the hour hand on the SO doesn't look like it goes with the minute hand, or vice versa.

actually i think im more fond of the numbers on the SA than the 08 version. the SA in my opinion is a chunky sporty watch especially with the rubber strap. i just bought a 07 SA last week, im in love with it lol. im glad i made the purchase before the price increase and before the new style. i also really like the new ocean racer rubber straps but i hate the fact that they dont say breitling on them. they need to come out with rubber strap that says breitling with the new bracelet style clasp

Thanks a lot UB77 for sharing!

I have to agree with both CSH and dadicroce. The hands on the SO looks kind of a mismatch to me. Also, I prefer the numbers on the SA dial for more or less the same reasons as dadicroce. I'm very pleased I have the 07' SA, because a 08' would make me think it over a few more times before getting it.

I just love that Superocean with the yellow dial - would suit me fine one of those!

I agree with the majority of the other posts in as much as the baton markers on the new SA look OK, but I still much prefer the arabic numbers on it instead. The double batons also seem to make it look a little cluttered to me.

And I agree that the hour and minute hands on the SO may take a little getting used to!

:? Hmmmm, Breitling have made a few slightly strange moves with the new models this year. Asymetric lugs on the Bentley, rubber bezel on the Chrono-matic, mis-matched hands on the SO......

I'm sure we'll all get used to them and be loving it in no time, but at the moment I'm not totally 100% convinced.

I agree with you Driver8, usually when an innovative designer house brings out a forward design we consumers tend to feel awkward about it, then slowly but surely we start to understand the new beauty and fall in love with it.

Well I'm glad I bought my SA last week, much prefer the numbers on the dial. I do however love the Ocean Racer Rubber Strap on it. I've got one on my SOH46 and it's the most comfortable strap i've ever worn, especially as it's adjustable in length - great for a hot day!
Looks great in red as well

Are they discontinued the Arabic SA or are both going to be available? I can't see them keeping both SuperOcean dials.. I don't mind the dial on the SuperOcean, but hte new hands look un-breitling.. remind me of a Omega Broad Arrow..

not for me, i really do prefer the big silver arabic numbers but I do believe there will be a coral dial version :D :D :D

as for the SO......I agree, hands look 'wrong' but even worse is the highlighted 6,9&12 indices.....should all look the same imho

DD (on holiday so post count down a bit!)

The stick markers look like HELL compared to the Arabic numerals and the biggest problem is the fact that they did away with the Silver sub dials. I'm glad I got mine before they F----d it up !
