Hey guys,

I'm looking to purchase my first Breitling...the Superocean steelfish x-plus, black w/ pro2 bracelet. I call all the AD's in my area and they all quote me retail price, and they all mention a price increase. I've never purchased from an AD before and was wondering if anyone has any advice on how I may negotiate the price down?
Or can someone refer me to an AD that would be able to help me out? I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Welcome aboard!

If you update your profile, or just post a message back here indicating where you're from, we'll be able to provide some guidance. Prices and discounts fluctuate wildly depending on what part of the world you live in.

As for the price increase, I was told April 1, as were some other folks. The percentage increase is rumored at anything from 8-20%! Yikes! So you may want to decide quickly!

Good luck.

Thank you. I failed.

I didn't read the SUBJECT line of your post.

You're in Southern California. We have at least one member here from that area. I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. I would guess a discount of around 15% is a reasonable expectation.

Check these guys out. I've called them several times and they are very nice people. They are located in SoCal.

I've had good experiences with Royal Maui Jewelers in Escondido, just north of San Diego. I just got a blackface SA there and they took good care of me. I've also had good experiences with Traditional Jewelers in Fashion Island, Newport Beach. Don't expect big discounts at either place, but they both have very knowledgeable staff and excellent after-sale support.

Give my buddie Stephen Todd a call!

http://www.townejewelers.com 949.859.7883

I've purchased 3 Breitlings so far from these guys. And they have been VERY nice to me! polish / cleaing whenever I drop by, catalogs, cigars, coffee, etc.

All they sell are LING's. Well, as well as custom jewelry. They stock a VERY extensive collection, and they throw in a few freebies here and there. . . .
