Not to stereotype you guys across the pond, but you guys have all types of shortened words....Why not shorten Breitling?

I call my Navitimer World Navi-World, I call our Corvette The Vette, I call our Tahoe The 'Hoe, the house is the Casa or Pad. No big deal. What is important is you have something in common with all of us, you're a fan of Breitlings.

Welcome aboard, enjoy your new Breitling.

~Brian

Us guys across the pond cannot be stereotyped. We are all unique. I prefer to quote Sherlock Holmes "but for the folly of a king .... we would all be one nation... "

Of course you chaps over there would all be ruled from here and drive what I believe you call "compacts" You would also be forced to refer to our common interest as a Breitling Timepiece, much as I refer to my car as a Jaguar Motor Car or a "jaguuwaaar"

And you would pay 12 bucks a gallon.

Actually, I don't have a vehicle at all. I take transit. To me, that's a good thing, else I would not be able to afford a Breitling!
Welcome and Cheers,
Carl

I use Ling sometimes to break up the monotony of constantly using Breitling in all my posts.

As far as cars go, Chevy and an Audi
