DONT!!

Not on a brushed Steelfish bracelet.

You will ***K it up.

I have a Steelfish and use my Cods just to keep it smart, but real heavy use especially on the bracelet will give you a polished look in part that is not the way it should be.

So do you use the cape cod on the brushed sections? Is it possible to use it without messing it up?

To be honest the cods are best used to restore polished surfaces.

But they can be used with care on brushed surfaces to brighten them up.

Never use on the crystal of course.

Just remember if you rub hard enough on say a brushed clasp it will end up with a mirror polished finish.

But a light rub will make a brushed finish very nice indeed. A light rub mind you.

Since my Navitimer has gone back to Breitling for a bit I was thinking of getting one of these to brighten up my Colt.

Even thought my local AD said it looked great for six years of constant wear it could do with bit of TLC. I guess I'm going to have to be pretty careful with those brushed links as I don't want (or know!) how to take the bracelet apart...

For those interested I found a link on Drugstore.com that sells the cloths for $12.99, although if you can bump the order to above $25 they'll toss in free shipping on your first order.
