colsman, i've heard the blacksteel actually does scratch and that these can't be fixed/buffed out like the regular stainless steel version of the watch.

cjpipoly, its very simple to swap out bracelets, it seems like a lot of people like to use the bergeon spring bar tool, should be able to find them available on ebay.

The Avenger Skyland would be a really cool gift.. but I think one of the Windrider series might be cooler - like the Chronomat Evo, also the Navitimer series has that Pilot watch look and tons of history, whether or not its acutally useful in flight (i've heard different stories from different pilots).
