My Navitimer World (Black dial) has arrived at my AD in Toulouse - now all I have to do is find a decent excuse to 'disappear' from work for a few hours and pick it up.

Failing this, I'll have to wait until Monday afternoon....this is HELL

Pics as and when I actually get my hot sweaty hands on the beast.

Nice going Sportback! You've gone for black leather haven't you? I reckon that'll look great.

I think so  but I don't know if the AD was actually listening when I said I wanted it on a deployant - I'll call them and see...(they left a message this morning while I was in a meeting, so I've yet to speak to them)

I think it looks really tasty on black leather (waits for the knives to appear  )

Hey great choice!!! The wait is the worst isnt it??? :?

Since you are flashing the distastefull "FULL LING" tag in your signature and the elegant and superior PCACBORC is missing I am officially washing my hands of this situation when the wolves come and leaving you to your own devices, you reap what you sew

Seriosely, congrats on your new purchase. I am sure you will love it.

There, is that better?

To all intents and purposes, I'm no longer a member of the full ling club as of this morning anyway... :(

Any why are you no longer a member? Do not tell me you sold the 6.75? That is a great watch! And a KEEPER as agreed by the both of us previousely. Why oh why did you not KEEP it?????!!!!! :( :( :( :( :(

I am sure that PAM 270 had something to do with it.

Well - in a way.

Unusually my g/f and I actually took some time to look at and discuss my small collection - and it came about that she does have an opinion after all, and she's decided that the 6.75 was rather too 'bling' for me (a very un-blingy bloke) I have to admit that I agreed with her. So when a fellow forum member asked if I was considering selling it, I said yes - the sale went thru and the watch is now on it's way to foreign climes.

In all honesty the 6.75 was too large and more importantly too heavy for my wrist - if it's not comfortable to wear, then I can't see the point of putting it on - besides which, since actually getting it, my passion for Panerai has developed (to fever pitch some would say!!) and the 270 really does look like a fitting replacement.

I've still got my Evo on Pilot ll - does that count?

That makes sence, if your not going to wear it why keep it. I myself do not wear my 6.75 for overly long times because my other watches are infinately more comfy, but it is too gorgeous to sell.

God help you when acceldebt finds out you sold your Bentley for a Panerai.

I did no such thing, I merely stated that I am washing my hands because of your non membership into the club, never said that me or the assosiated group would jump in if you sudenely became a member, I mean this is uncharted teritory, dumping a Bentley for a far more expensive Panerai?! Who knows how he will react.

All this silence is disturbing, I would watch my back if I was you. I would not put it past him to actually fly over there and DEGRADE your physical well being.

I think Ling Man is in shock. As soon as he's out of intensive care, he'll be opening a can whup-ass without a doubt!

I have to say I like your girlfriends opinion - in a way...

Well, a Navi World would still count, on a bracelet of course...

I've just had confirmation from Panerai - it's arriving at the end of May (2008) - it seems they only actually started making the damn things this month!

Oh, and for info ('cause I've just been speaking to Breitling) my Navitimer World is well and truly on a BLACK LEATHER deployant - can't bear the thought that she's sitting in a drawer somewhere, all alone, just waiting for me to wind her up (!) and show her off - there are indeed certain similarities to my g/f...

PS: and she'll look like this
