I have a chrono SuperOcean and usually plan on wearing it when i SCUBA dive but always back out and take a cheap watch. Do any of you wear your watch diving. The SuperOcean is built for diving right? I guess I need to quit babying it and just take it with me next week.

Dive man, Dive! Remember the more you have it in the ocean the more it will need service. Other then that its made to be USED. After each dive make sure to give it a good rinse in cold water to clean out any salt from the sea water......and enjoy!

Take the watch scuba diving! I had a SuperOcean for 10 years, which I wore every single day. At work I had my hand in machinery daily, and it did get some scratches. I washed it every week or 2 in Sunlight dish detergent, and it still sparkled after 10 years. I also waited 10 years to have it serviced, cost of $265.00, my AD did it, and they took out all the scratches, too. Admittedly, have never gone diving, but these watches are meant to be used! A few scratches and nicks just personalizes the watch. Enjoy it.
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks everyone. It's going down. Heading off to the springs next week so I will dive with it for the first time. I will have to ease into the saltwater so maybe the next trip.

Excellent choice to take the SO out to play.

Don't forget to take some shots of the watch in "action" if you can!

Its a super OCEAN, not super "don't get me damp in the bath"

Enjoy using it for its intended purpose!

(don't forget your camera)
